Prepare to swoon when you take a bite of this luscious apple dipped in caramel, bacon, and peanut butter coated pretzels.
I made these for a party and they were a hit. I altered the recipe and sliced the apples, dipped them in Orange juice to stop the browning and then dipped the slices in the caramel. This was my first time making any type of candy so it would have been nice if the anticipated time to prepare was listed but I had plenty of time to prepare. I also didn't make the water hot enough and had to microwave the caramel a few times to finish up, but that was again more due to my inexperience. I would definitely make these again for a special occasion.
