Where or where do I begin? First of all, way too pan/dish/utensil intensive. Then who, who bakes brownies for 50 minutes?! This is a 9x9 pan people! I caught mine before they burned. However, they were dried out and inedible. A crying shame since when I bake I use very high-quality chocolate, not the stuff on the baking aisle. I used pecans that my MIL sent me from the south. Another top-shelf option. I also used high-quality bourbon. The bacon, a whole half-pound was uncured Applewood smoked. This was one expensive pan of horrible. I will never make them again and now I am in search of a good recipe. Steer clear of this one. It is a waste of time and ingredients.
50 minutes baking time was way too long. They came out dry and pecans on top burned!
