Best, best, best salad recipe! The balsamic dressing is delicious as are the sweet and spicy pecans. It's worth the time to make both. I break this out for company as it's always a favorite.
Where's the recipe for the dressing? I don't want to use the Newman's. When ads become more important than the recipes, I'll go elsewhere. Very disappointed in this site.
I made this salad I but didn't make the pecans, I used store bought. This is a GREAT salad!! Very tasty dressing. I did not add the oranges. This is definitely company worthy.
Good salad, very pretty also.
This was a great recipe - when the dressing recipe was included. Just went to look for it, as it's one of my all-time faves, and now I'm just linked to ads for balsamic vinaigrettes. Very disappointing.
Great salad recipe, especially in the Spring when you can get really good strawberries. I also use the dressing on regular salads.
This is one of my all-time favorite salad recipes. I have made it for Christmas dinner 2 years in a row. It always gets rave reviews from dinner guests. The mix of flavors (fruit, cheese, nuts and greens) is really fabulous with a tasty, slightly sweet dressing. Definitely a five-star recipe.
Love it! This is my go-to salad recipe for potlucks and entertaining. I always get lots of compliments and requests for the recipe. The dressing is a great on other salads as well. This is one to add to your favorites.
This is truly a delicious salad. I left out the strawberries since Hubby and I are not fond of them. I also used a different candied pecan since I had some but I will definitely try this recipe for them. The balsamic vinaigrette is outstanding!!
We always receive wonderful compliments when we serve this salad to guests. We have served it both at formal and informal dinners; serving it with roast beef paninis, beef tenderloin, and marinated salmon.
