I agree with the others and also use pecans. I didn't have blue cheese this time but did have feta crumbles--works just fine. This salad has been a hit for several years!!
One of my absolute favorite salads! A friend brought this over to our house and I had to have the recipe. Then I served this at Thanksgiving and family wanted the recipe too - that tells you how great it is!
Absolutely the best! I even added pomegranete seeds for that tiny burst of fresh flavor... Perfection in the fall when tomatos are not meant to be in a salad. I also use pecans instead of walnuts. I think the walnut is just a bit to powerful.
