A quick hit with sweet and tangy fresh citrus and toasted sesame under the broiler, and voila! An instant side dish favorite, ready in minutes.

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat broiler to HIGH; arrange rack about 4 inches from heating element.

Step 2

Arrange asparagus on a foil-lined baking sheet. Coat asparagus with cooking spray.

Step 3

Broil asparagus 10 minutes or until tender, stirring halfway through cooking.

Step 4

Drizzle evenly with sesame oil, orange juice, pepper, salt, and vinegar. Toss asparagus with orange segments and sesame seeds.

Easy and unique

We are always looking for ways to change up asparagus and this was a good one.  Definitely has an Asian quality to it though we had it with grilled steak and found it to be a light and tasty side.  Will make again.
