Prepare Fresh Apple Cake batter as directed; sprinkle with Streusel Topping. Bake and cool cake as directed. Omit frosting and 1/2 cup pecans from top of cake.
This recipe is labor intensive and the ratio of cake to streusel topping and caramel sauce as well as the baking instructions are just WRONG. Does anyone at Southern Living tet these recipes before publishing? This was quite disappointing.
