Did you reduce the 1C apple cider down to a 1/4C on the stove top before adding other ingredients?
I made it without a problem. Tastes amazing. It is imperative that you reduce the cider down to 1/4 cup, not only so that you end up with the proper consistency in the finished product but also because it concentrates the apple flavor. Try it again & keep a measuring cup handy to check how much the cider has reduced. If you have more than 1/4 cup, return the cider to the pot and continue cooking until you only have 1/4 cup left then proceed with the recipe.
You need to cook the apple cider until it is reduced down to 1/4 cup. This will take a while. Great recipe.
The sauce came out very runny. Any ideas?
