So yummy-I made this several times in one week, it was so good. I used an extra sharp cheddar and crunchy almond butter, otherwise I followed the recipe exactly.
Weird but tasty! I love apples with nut butter and I love apples with cheddar, but I don't think I had ever tried all three together before. We toasted the bread and subbed cashew butter for the almond butter, since we had some on hand. I also used more of everything - 1/2 oz cheddar and 1 T nut butter just isn't enough to make a whole sandwich! I hate how CL lowers the calorie profile by calling for ridiculously tiny quantities of ingredients that no one will ever abide by - seems like cheating. ;)
