This is always a hit when I make it for my family and church dinners. I do add raisins to one loaf when I make it. It is so moist!!
I would not recommend this recipe.. it’s too soft and it cracks even after its cooled.. I used all the ingredients exactly , even the buttermilk.. I will not save this recipe.. it did smell good but too crumbly.
I agree that the baking time is off, also the size of pan/pans needs to be mentioned, the bread is very good.
The baking time is off on this recipe. More like 40-45 minutes.
