Amazing things happen in March. Days get longer. Temperatures get warmer (at least in theory). Recipes, somehow, get even more delicious. Here are my favorites for March.

This pie from Health Magazine starts with pizza dough, meaning the Editors, in their vast wisdom, have removed the only hard part of pie making and left us this delicious treat instead. Are they still accepting nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize this year?

Hold the phone, friends. This cherry cobbler does two things I love: celebrates my love of fresh, in-season produce and adds mini chocolate chips to any recipe. Boom. New favorite dessert recipe, right here. All You, if I could see you right now, I'd hug you.

I'm fine with admitting that I'm cheating with this pick. I've already made this Cooking Light recipe, and my husband loved it. And we both ate it for days. And we froze some and then ate it and it was better the second time around. If that isn't a winning recipe, I don't know what is. Calling out that it specifically tells you to use microwave rice seems to be gilding the lily here.

Do you ever whine about your scalloped potatoes being too creamy, Goldilocks? First of all, we wouldn't be friends. Second of all, I'd pretty much hate you because you'd be right. Holy moly are scalloped potatoes delicious with a hint of heat in them. Southern Living, my hats off to you.

This recipe calls for tortilla chips, but I've found that going face-first into the bowl is clearly the best way to enjoy it. St. Patrick's Day is this month, don't forget, so get your green on and make this Coastal Living appetizer today.

Forget everything you think you know about fava and prepare to fall in love with an open-face sandwich like never before. The fresh colors, the ripe flavor... don't let this month slip by without making this Sunset recipe.

*Tear* It's almost the end of my favorite season: Soup season. Luckily, I can still have a bowl of this hearty, yet light-feeling stew to warm my heart. Besides, I can still pull off leggings into April, right? The fact that this soup recipe makes nine servings may mean that I have to!

Come back and see us every month! With hundreds of new recipes going up on our site, I’m here to help you find the seven (or so!) must-try dishes each month.
