In each episode of Inside Trader Joe’s, Captains (store managers) and Crew Members (employees) delve deep into the chain’s inner workings, revealing exclusive info about new products along the way.
This week, the crew dropped details about eight (eight!) new items you’ll see on shelves soon:
1. Cat Treats
As a cat owner, I can tell you this has been a long time coming.
“We’ve been accused by some animal lovers of only loving dogs at Trader Joe's and it's just not true,” Marketing Director Tara Miller says. “We love cats and dogs, and we are introducing two new cat treats: one that's chicken and one that's tuna.”

2. Gluten-Free Pizza Dough
Miller says this’ll be available sometime in February.
3. Organic Honey Hedgehogs and Organic Vanilla Wafers
We have no idea what an “organic honey hedgehog” is, but we are here for it 100 percent.
4. Gochujang Chop Salad
VP of Marketing Matt Sloan says this salad is “really tasty” and its fermented chili paste is a “classic in a lot of Korean cooking.”
5. Neapolitan Joe Joe's Ice Cream
Like Neapolitan Joe Joe cookies. But, you know, ice cream.
6. Outside-In Gnocchi
This pasta is turning classic gnocchi on its head: “These have the sauce on the inside of the little puff pillow, pasta guys,” Sloan says. “So it's cheese and sauce, tomato sauce, and cheese inside the gnocchi.”
7. Caprese Ravioli
Another game-changing pasta product: “All those things that make your Caprese salad in the summertime so delicious and so craveable are stuffed inside a really delicious ravioli,” Miller says.
8. Guacamole and Chips Snack Pack
“For snack time, for school, for work or anywhere you might need a little snack,” Miller says.
