These Are the Most Searched-for Super Bowl Recipes in Each State
Can somebody check on New Mexico?
Google analyzed search patterns across the country to come up with a list of the most searched-for Super Bowl recipes in each state—and some of them are downright bizarre.
Like, who brings pea and peppercorn mash to a Super Bowl potluck? Apparently New Mexicans.
Also, while banana bread is delicious, it’s not exactly a classic game day food. (*cough* Oregon *cough*)

Mississippi, meanwhile, is throwing us a complete curveball with granola bars.
To be fair: Google Trends released a list of the top recipe searches of the past week and slapped this Super Bowl title on it. Yeah, the game is this weekend—but people don’t necessarily have to search for football-related recipes. Everyone in Montana could’ve gotten a collective hankering for lentil soup on Tuesday. Google doesn’t know their lives.
Nevertheless, quite a few classics made the cut: Buffalo chicken dip was a clear favorite throughout the U.S.
