The game has officially changed.
Taco Bell’s menu, though perfect in almost every way, has always had one glaring flaw: no buffalo chicken.
If you read that and thought “But Taco Bell is supposed to serve Mexican food,” I admire your idealism--but stop kidding yourself.
If you can earnestly order a frozen Mountain Dew with a side of hash browns, you’re probably not about to enjoy genuine Mexican cuisine.

Taco Bell clearly agrees, and has shed all pretenses of south of the border authenticity.
Thank God for that, because the fast food chain is testing a $5 buffalo chicken nachos box--and it looks incredible.
"This nachos box is filled with refried beans, warm nacho cheese sauce, a three-cheese blend, shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, sour cream, pico de gallo, and guacamole all placed on top of a bed of nacho chips and served with a medium drink for $5,” according to a company spokesperson.
My God. Perfection does exist.
The test will launch at select locations in Charlotte, North Carolina on December 27.
People of North Carolina, I beg you: Don’t let us down. We need this.
