Snickers White Chocolate is Coming Back, This Time Permanently
New year, new Snickers.
Snickers: as far as candy bars go, a decent one to put in your body if you need to stave off a visceral bout of hangriness as quickly as possible. Or so I’m told. Regardless, it’s been a favorite among connoisseurs of mainstream chocolate bars for quite some time.
Now, the regular chocolate Snickers bar we all know and love will soon be accompanied by a white chocolate counterpart, this time on a permanent basis. Mars, Incorporated has announced the impending return of Snickers White, slated to hit store shelves starting in January of 2020, presumably forever, and much to the delight of white chocolate fans the world over.
What exactly is in a Snickers White bar? Great question. Essentially, you’ll find all of the classic elements of a regular ol’ Snickers Bar, including nougat, nuts, and caramel, wrapped in a layer of hardened white chocolate to envelop you in a coat of creamy, sweet chocolate with each and every bite.

Much like voting in a democracy theoretically allows people to make their voice heard, the folks behind Snickers say the return of their white chocolate offering is the product of popular pressure. "We received a resounding positive response from fans when we launched Snickers White as a limited edition offering last year," Snickers brand director Josh Olken said in a press release. "As we continue to see the demand for white chocolate grow, we're excited to present this new take on our classic SNICKERS for more fans to enjoy."
Though they won’t be available in time for Christmas, fans of white chocolate can enjoy single (1.41 ounce) and “share” (2.84 ounce) servings of Snickers White just in time to derail their New Year’s resolutions. Just try not to hangirly snap at your friends and relatives until then.
