Topped with a brownie.

As we close in on St. Patrick’s day, we’ve spent a lot of time talking about the surprising number of seasonally-themed food and drinks you can get your hands on. While there’s no love lost for three-leaf clover ravioli, there are two primary categories of special themed products: green shakes and cheap booze.

While combining those two things into one special St. Paddy’s Day treat is a worthwhile DIY experiment, Red Lobster has decided to take matters into their own hands by creating what looks like a truly insane and over-the-top cocktail creation. Just in time for March, they’ve come up with an Irish Mudslide cocktail, the ultimate in boozy shakes, which one has to imagine tastes as wild as it looks.

So what’s in it? A whole hell of a lot, as it turns out. The base ingredient is Jameson Irish Whiskey, which is then blended with Creme de Menthe and vanilla ice cream. That’s really just the start though: this thing is rounded out by a Hershey’s chocolate Swirl, whipped cream and gold sugar crystals (to signify the pot of gold at the end of the label, as a press release notes).

And of course the final piece de resistance is a whole dang brownie on top of the drink. It’s like getting an extra dessert on top of the adult milkshake you’re already drinking.

This potent Patty’s-themed potable will be available at Red Lobster Locations nationwide now through March 29. I have no idea how something like this would pair with lobster, but you better believe you could knock back a few of these while crushing a bunch of Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
