Ah, pumpkin spice: We love to hate you and hate to love you.
Look, pumpkin spice is a delicious flavor profile. Sorry, but it’s true. It’s warm and cozy and spicy and sweet and everything anyone could possibly want in a fall flavor. So chill with the PSH, OK? It’s not cool.

With that said, it might be time to admit we’ve gone too far. There’s enjoying a little too much of a good thing, and then there’s beating a dead horse with a can of Pumpkin Pie Spice Pringles.
Last year it was hummus. This year, the pumpkin spice extremists are coming for cheese.
Canadian shoppers started spotting Beemster Pumpkin Spice Gouda at Costco stores last fall, but the cheese is making a stir this year.
Listen, I’m not here to judge anyone’s food preferences. I’m a firm believer in eating what makes you happy (within reason). If pumpkin spice cheese makes the world a little brighter for you, then by golly, eat that Gouda. But, I have to ask, when will it end? Pumpkin spice sushi? Pumpkin spice mashed potatoes? Will this mania only end when the entire world is coated in a thin dusting of nutmeg? Only time will tell.
