Pillsbury's New Peaches & Cream Cinnamon Rolls are Coming to Bust Your Winter Blues
Nothing exemplifies the beauty of baking quite like a fresh, hot plate of cinnamon rolls. While even a mall kiosk can churn out a cinnamon roll worth celebrating, there’s something special about pulling one out of the oven yourself. And when it comes to that sort of thing, Pillsbury Grands! rolls function as a verifiably idiot-proof way to whip up something good.
Well if you ever had a hankerin’ for cinnamon rolls with something of a southern twist, you should probably know about a newly-spotted Grands! flavor that should hit the spot like a sweet tea on a summer’s day. According to Instagram account @CandyHunting, we’ll soon be seeing Grands! Cinnamon Rolls with a delectable Peaches & Cream flavored icing.
Maybe there’s a strong Pillsbury voting bloc in the south, because @CandyHunting’s caption suggests this new flavor was the product of a Pillsbury email-based poll that pitted Peaches & Cream against Birthday Cake, with the former flavor evidently emerging victorious.
This isn’t the first time in recent months that Pillsbury’s put a flavor twist on their line of cinnamon rolls. Earlier this year, they (re)unveiled an appropriately Valentine’s Day-themed Strawberry & Cream flavor. With Punxsutawney Phil not seeing his shadow back on Groundhog Day, maybe Peaches & Cream is an attempt to set the mood for the early spring that should surely be here any day now.
So if you’re looking for a fun, fruity twist on the easiest-baking cinnamon rolls around, look no further than this new treat that even your meemaw will love. The 5-count cans of Peaches & Cream iced rolls will be available for a limited time at Target, Kroger, HEB, HyVee, Wakefern, Wegman’s, Meijer, and Albertson’s Safeway (CA only) for $3.89 each, according to Pillsbury. The @CandyHunting Instagram caption suggests they’ve already been spotted at San Antonio-based supermarket chain HEB, but they’re surely on their way to other parts of the country—maybe once it’s warm enough to properly enjoy a peachy cinnamon roll like this one.
