We need to take this movement nationwide.
Fans of Bob’s Burgers have been following the Belcher family for nearly a decade. To celebrate the show’s ninth season premiere, three restaurants around the country transformed into real life versions of the cartoon restaurant.
Loyal viewers will know that Bob has a penchant for creatively naming his “Burgers of the Day.” To be fair, his names are amazing: The Poutine On The Ritz Burger (served with poutine fries) and the Cauliflower’s Cumin From Inside The House Burger (with cauliflower and cumin) are among my favorites.
On this season’s premiere date, Sunday, September 30, the three temporary Bob’s Burgers locations each served a special "Burger of the Day:"
The Lucky Boy Burger Shop in Phoenix, Arizona and Fred’s Meat and Bread in Atlanta, Georgia served the New Bacon-ings Burger.
According to the official Bob’s Burgers Burger Book, a New Bacon-ings Burger is quite simple: it’s an all beef patty seasoned with salt and pepper, topped with lettuce, cheddar cheese, onions, tomato, and bacon. It’s served with a side of bacon fries.
These burgers looked classic, but still delicious.
Meanwhile, the Hi-Pointe Drive-In in St. Louis, Missouri served the Don't You Four Cheddar Bout Me Burger.
This burger—you guessed it—is made with four different cheeses. The patty itself is stuffed with sharp white cheddar and sharp yellow cheddar. It’s then topped with lettuce, onion, tomato, a slice of white horseradish mild cheddar cheese, and a slice of mild yellow cheddar cheese.
Honestly, this burger sounds really good. That Bob Belcher sure does know his way around a burger.
