Heinz's New Condiment Is a Sweet, Spicy Mashup We're Going to Use on Everything
It’s called HoneyRacha and we want it now.
Update: A representative from HEINZ confirmed that HoneyRacha will hit shelves this spring. Additionally, if you plan to watch a certain sporting event next month, HoneyRacha will be making a brief appearance within a 30-second HEINZ commercial in the game's second quarter, fourth commercial break. The 30-second ad was directed by Roman Coppola, so yeah, pretty big deal.
If you’re a fan of mixing your condiments together, we’ve got some great news for you. The brains behind Mayochup, Mayocue, Mayomust, and Kranch have two new flavors on the horizon, according to Instagrammer @candyhunting. And based on what’s been found, it looks like Heinz is embracing sriracha hybrids this year. @candyhunting’s post provides a tasty glimpse of the condiment’s design, and it looks promising:
“Honeyracha is the next Saucy Sauce from Heinz! There is also a trademark for Mayoracha, but I haven't found images yet. I expect both will be out soon,” the caption reads.
While some of the existing mashup sauces make us a little uneasy (Kranch, we mean you), HoneyRacha is a blend we can get behind. If you don’t believe us, just try these Honey-Sriracha Wings. Once you get your hands on a bottle of the convenient condiment, try drizzling Honeyracha over pizza or fried chicken, and incorporating it into a marinade.
