Disney World Is Selling Mini 'Aladdin' Cakes and They're (Almost) Too Cute to Eat
That’s one good lookin’ cake.
The highly anticipated live action remake of the Disney classic Aladdin is hitting theatres on May 24—so it should come as no surprise that Aladdin-, Jasmine-, and Genie-inspired treats are popping up all over Disney Parks.
The latest homage to the film might just be the prettiest yet (thanks to PopSugar for bringing it to our attention). Check out this absolutely gorgeous petit cake from Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs:
Imagine how much time and work goes into decorating just one of these desserts. The cake (which is appropriately the same teal color as Jasmine’s dress) is embellished with a delicate purple and gold pattern and a tiny golden lamp. The real stunner, though, is the beautifully detailed fondant magic carpet that’s placed on top. I mean, just look at those intricate patterns! Those colors! Those tassels! Honestly, the pastry chefs at Disney really outdid themselves with this one.

According to Disney Food Blog, the cakes are comprised of layers of almond chiffon cake with amaretto simple syrup, fig pate de fruit, five-spice mousse, almond pecan granola, and golden raisin jam.
It’s not clear exactly how much one of these cakes will set you back, but we’re willing to bet it costs a pretty penny. But, hey—you can’t put a price on a perfect Instagram.
