Celebrate the first day of fall with a cool and creamy treat
Dairy Queen is celebrating the start of fall with the launch of their first-ever Fall Blizzard Menu. The menu drops September 22—the first day of the season—at participating locations. It features four of fan-favorite returning cold treats, including a brand new flavor we can’t wait to try.
The menu will bring back the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat, made with pumpkin pie pieces and vanilla soft serve, and topped with whipped cream and nutmeg. The OREO Hot Cocoa Blizzard Treat will have OREO cookie pieces and cocoa fudge blended with vanilla soft serve and topped with whipped cream. In addition, Reese’s Outrageous Blizzard Treat makes a comeback with Reese’s peanut butter cups, Reese’s pieces, peanut butter, and caramel topping blended in vanilla soft serve. Another returning flavor: the Dipped Strawberry Treat with Ghirardelli, which includes chunks of Ghirardelli chocolate and strawberry tipping blended with vanilla soft serve.
The newest member to the DQ family is the cinnamon sugar infused Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough Blizzard Treat. This holiday-flavored chiller is made with Snickerdoodle cookie dough chunks sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, then blended with vanilla soft serve. It’s like Grandma used to make, but crushed into your favorite cup of DQ ice cream.
If you’re looking for a cheap way to snag the new flavors, customers who download the DQ mobile app can grab a small blizzard for free at participating locations. And if you already have the app, order up Dairy Queen’s new $4 Burger and Blizzard Treat deal, available at participating locations through the end of September. For $4 customers can choose from a cheeseburger or KC BBQ bacon cheeseburger to pair with a mini blizzard treat.
