So what if it’s still 90 degrees?

I don’t know how many other people can sympathize with this, but going through Dairy Queen’s drive-thru and eating a Blizzard in a parking lot is one of the only ways I’ve been able to maintain a sense of normalcy since March. If you haven’t tried it yet, I wholeheartedly recommend it, especially since DQ just dropped this year’s selection of autumn-themed Blizzards.

The Pumpkin Pie, Choco Dipped Strawberry, Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough, and Brownie Dough Blizzards are returning this year, while two new treats, the Caramel Apple Pie and Oreo Mocha Fudge Blizzards, make the DQ debut. The Caramel Apple Pie Blizzard combines apple pie chunks, soft caramel pieces, and DQ soft serve topped with whipped cream and would definitely pair with your 200th listen of Folklore, while DQ describes the Oreo Mocha Fudge Blizzard as “a loaded mocha experience combining OREO® cookie pieces, coffee and sweet choco chunks with world-famous DQ soft serve.” It may not quite be fall yet, but eating a bunch of ice cream in a sweater is the next best thing.

Dairy Queen is also reviving the DQ Blizzard Treat Candle Collection, upgraded to reflect this year’s fall Blizzard lineup. Because what’s the next best thing besides eating ice cream? Making your home smell like ice cream. The set of six 4-ounce candles, which becomes available on Thursday, September 3, at 3 p.m. EST, will retail for $25. But those dollars will do some good too, since 100% of the proceeds will go to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Also, you cannot deny that they are very cute.
