Pearsecco Is the Cider/Prosecco Mashup We Never Knew We Needed
We’re thrilled to report that yet another light and breezy, perfect-for-spring drink is here: Friends, I’d like you to meet Crispin’s new Pearsecco.
The bubbly new blend is a mixture of pear-based cider with a crisp prosecco taste. This isn’t Crispin’s first venture into wine-inspired ciders. Last year, the brand capitalized on pink wine’s sudden surge of popularity with Crispin Rosé.
"Both prosecco and pear-inspired beverages have seen strong growth in recent years. With the new Pearsecco flavor, we are continuing to appeal to cider and wine drinkers alike with yet another rendition of our fresh and modern take on cider,” said Danielle Rappoport, director of Ciders, Mexican Imports and Flavored Malt Beverages in a press release.
Both wine-inspired beverages are available now in a variety pack, alongside Crispin’s Brut cider.
We decided to try all three—because journalism.
Guess what? They were all sweet, light, and refreshing as heck.
While the Rosé was our favorite by a landslide (it’s the absolute perfect poolside drink), we were pleasantly surprised by Pearsecco.
The pear flavor isn’t overwhelming, but it’s definitely there. It was just bubbly enough—nice and crisp, but we weren’t drowning in fizz, ya know?
If you’re not into fruity drinks, Crispin’s Brut is perfect for you. It really tastes more like a dry champagne than a cider, and if that’s what you’re into, you’ll love it.
The Variety Pack comes with six cans of Crispin Rosé; three cans of Crispin Brut; and three cans of Pearsecco—it’s available nationwide now for $16.99.
