The Cheesecake Factory's New 7 for $20 Deal Takes the Stress Out of Ordering Delivery
Over the past few months, anyone living with a significant other or even just a roommate has become intimately acquainted with the arduous, argumentative process that is deciding on a delivery order. I’m willing to bet that at least a few relationships in 2020 have ended over a delivery-induced conflict, as it’s an easy opportunity for the stress of living with each other 24/7 to reach its boiling point.
If delivery-based decision fatigue has you considering moving out in the middle of a pandemic, you might want to know that The Cheesecake Factory is offering an incredibly streamlined “7 for $20” deal that could theoretically save you both time and money.
Available for a limited time for the week leading up to July 4 (so Monday, June 29 through Sunday, July 5), the Cheesecake Factory will deliver you what is essentially a pretty good meal for two. That entails two “Happy Hour” double cheeseburgers, two orders of fries, two soft drinks, and a single slice of Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake. So if there’s anything that will inspire a relationship-ending argument, it’s the fact that you’ll have to fight over who gets that slice of cheesecake (pretend for a second that sharing isn’t an option in this universe).
The Cheesecake Factory
This isn’t the first time that Cheesecake Factory has tried to entice takeout orders in the days of Covid-19. A little while ago, they were offering $7.50 happy hour appetizers, which included this signature Happy Hour burger. When you look at it that way, you’re basically getting two orders of fries, two drinks and a slice of cheesecake for five bucks. Not bad.
So if you find yourself tired, hung over, or just at a loss for what to order next week, you could do worse than this Cheesecake Factory deal. Is it a little odd that it only includes one slice of the restaurant’s namesake dish? Maybe. But don’t let something like logic get in the way of a good deal.
