It’s a real “beef,” if you will.

Burger King and McDonald’s are natural enemies. It’s a tale as old as time: Two rivals, competing for ultimate power, will always be at odds.

We’ve all pretty much accepted the feud as a fact of life, right? They’re basically the Hatfields and McCoys of the fast food industry.

Well, Burger King UK just upped the ante BIG TIME.

Maybe the chain is still salty about Yeezy’s 2016 poem about his favorite restaurant. Here’s an excerpt:

“McDonalds man

McDonalds man

I know them French fries had a plan

I know them French fries had a plan

The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band

To overthrow the French fries plan.”

Whatever got the King’s burgers in a bunch, people are loving the shade. So far, the message has been retweeted more than 260,000 times.

The company followed up with another tweet:

Whoever’s running Burger King UK’s social media needs a pay raise—and maybe a hug. They seem a little crabby.

TBH, of all of Kanye’s tweets, I would’ve assumed this would be the least likely to cause a stir. But, hey, it’s 2018. Anything can happen.
