What Is A Bronut?

Is the word "Bronut" suddenly popping up in your newsfeed? So long, brookie. See ya later, cronut. The darling of 2015 is the Bronut.

Its name suggests that the Bronut might be a manly treat, something to be enjoyed with bros, by bros. Not so, we say! While we're sure, um, bros would love to indulge in this flaky bakery treat, it's open to be loved by men, women, and children alike.

Without further ado, we present the Bronut:

And the credit for the fun name? That goes to a local food blogger.

Whatever you call it, the good people at MarieBette Cafe in Charlottesville, Virginia are taking the credit. Can you blame them?
