6 Bad-Ass Recipes for All Our "Nasty" Women
That's right. It's Miss Jackson, if you're nasty. Or, in this case, it's Mrs. Clinton.
Last night's final presidential debate was full of controversy and plenty of zingers, including the moment when Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump declared, "Nobody respects women more than me." Irony, I'd like to introduce you to reality and a certain leaked tape of said candidate saying some pretty heinous things about women that contradict the notion of respecting them.
But the most talked about one-liner of the night among all the immigration reform, economy, and debt discussion was the statement made not even less than an hour after Trump expressed how much he respects women. In a hurling insult against the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Trump delivered a low blow, accusing Clinton of being "such a nasty woman" while she explained her plans on affordable healthcare. One thing, though, the blow didn't land as I'm suspecting he thought it would. Cue mic drop and Twitter explosion. All respect and offense to be damned, many women took to Twitter to boldly declare just how proud they were of their nasty (Halloween costumes were even thrown into the mix). Girls around the world celebrated the fact that it might not be such a bad thing to have a "Nasty Woman" as the leader of the free world, and a website () acknowledging such was created minutes after the debate ended, which redirects users back to Clinton's official site. Side note: Twitter acts fast.
In honor of all the women around the world, who proudly wear their “Nasty Woman” badge (raises hand in solidarity), we’ve rounded up this tempting selection to fuel your strength, power, and refusal to be boxed in based on societal standards. We have every reason to be proud of running the world with no apologies, and it's only fitting to have meals that reflect our bad-ass attitude. Even if you're not of the #imwithher brigade of supporters, but you're just an #imwithnasty woman who isn't afraid to let her nasty flag fly high, these intentionally offensive, but oh-so-good, recipes are for you.
Take it from seasoned comedians and bad-ass bosses, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, b*tches like Hillary Clinton get stuff done, and yeah, occasionally we're a little nasty, too.
