This cabbage pairs well with grilled meats. (Serves 4)
Kimchi-Style Cabbage
Spice-rubbed flank steak*

Steamed white rice

* Prepare grill. Rub a 1-pound trimmed flank steak with 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil; sprinkle evenly with 2 teaspoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper, 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, and 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger. Place steak on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut across grain into thin slices. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds.
