I can't pinpoint exactly when it happened, but sometime in the past few years I became a breakfast girl.

Now it doesn't matter the day or the hour, I'm always down. Dinner? Let's make it brinner. Lunch? How about a fried egg sandwich? Middle of the night? A WaHo run sounds great (translation for those who graduated college prior to 2010: Waffle House). If one of our Instagram posts is breakfast-related, you can bet it's me. Oops.

Pancakes, omelets, bacon, grits, biscuits and apple butter (thanks a lot, Cracker Barrel), fruit, sausage, breakfast casseroles, avocado toast, donuts, oatmeal, breakfast burritos, yogurt and granola, waffles, muffins and pastries, any type of breakfast potato, heck, even cereal— these are the ways to my heart! Oh, and how could I forget to mention coffee? That's a post for another day.

Even though I could literally eat breakfast foods anytime, my all-time favorite meal is brunch. I love sleeping in on Saturday and spending the majority of the morning in my PJ's whipping up pancakes, eggs, and coffee with my roommates.

Hungry yet? That's the goal. If you're already thinking about what you want to make this weekend, we've got tons of breakfast and brunch recipes to get you started. Here are some of my personal favorites:

Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Casserole
Whole-Wheat, Buttermilk, and Orange Pancakes
Smashed Avocado on Toast
Western Omelet
