While frozen corn kernels can speed up the prep time for some recipes, some people prefer fresh corn. Here's how you can cut corn off the cob easily and with minimal mess. After you shuck the corn, cut a small portion off the large end of the corn cob with a sharp knife to make a flat end. Stand corn cob up in the hole of a tube or bundt pan and cut kernels off the cob using a sawing motion. The kernels will fall into the cake pan, leaving you with little to no clean up!
