First, let’s get fruity with Peach-Strawberry Fruit Leather. This kid-friendly recipe calls for just 4 ingredients: strawberries, peaches, honey, and lemon juice. When making these fruity snacks, be sure to plan ahead because they take 7 hours to bake. But don’t panic, there’s only 31 minutes of hands-on time required. DIY Fruit by the Foot is not only sweet and fruity, but it’s also healthier than many store-bought options.
For you salty snackers, we have Cheddar Cheese Snack Crackers. With 7 ingredients, you can bake these cheesy crackers for afternoon munching. To prepare the dough, pulse all of the ingredients in a food processor and then allow the dough to chill for 1 hour. Roll the dough into a thin 10-inch square before dividing it into 1-inch squares and piercing holes into the center of each square. Allow the squares to bake until crisp and cool completely before snacking!
Last, but not least, let’s take a bite out of these Chocolate Crème-Filled Sandwich Cookies (AKA Homemade Oreos). This recipe has 2 major parts: the chocolate cookies and the crème filling. To make the cookie dough, beat the cookie ingredients together with an electric mixer until well blended. Next, divide the dough in half, roll each half into a log, and allow it to chill for 2 hours before slicing the dough for baking. Use your electric mixer to blend the ingredients for the crème filling. Once the cookies have baked and completely cooled, simply spread the filling between 2 cookies, grab some milk, and enjoy!
