Americans are expected to spend $2.6 billion on candy this Halloween. What’s arguably more surprising than the amount of money we spend on candy, are the types of candy we’re spending it on. For instance, I never would’ve guessed Lemon Heads would top any list, besides maybe “World’s Greatest Disappointments.” But here’s Louisiana to prove me wrong.

Hot Tamales and salt water taffy also performed much better than I ever would’ve expected, but maybe that’s because I live in a candy corn state.
