How to Make It
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease an 8x8 baking pan. Chop some cookies into rough chunks, and some slightly finer, and set aside.
Whisk together oil, milk, and egg. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir dry mixture into wet mixture, stirring as you go, until thoroughly mixed.
Pour half the batter into the pan, and sprinkle half the cookies in a layer on top. Press lightly with a spoon or spatula to slightly submerge the cookies, then cover with the rest of the batter. Sprinkle the remaining cookies on top, and drizzle melted butter over the top. Bake at 375°F for about 25 minutes. Cool, slice, and share.
