If you're looking for the perfect gift for a Star Wars-loving, coffee addict, look no further than the R2-D2 French press. This unique R2-D2 coffeemaker, which comes in the shape of the beloved droid, was designed by the folks at ThinkGeek and is the perfect Star Wars-themed kitchen accessory for a hardcore fan. Though the coffeemaker looks more like a sculpture than something to be used in the kitchen, it's a functioning French press, meant to be used like any other French press. Heat up some water, dump in some grounds with the hot water, let it steep, then press the whole mess down with the plunger, located at the top of R2's head. As the folks at ThinkGeek write in the product description, "For folks playing along at home, that's 4 cups, so even if your motivator is so bad that the Jawas put you back on the scrap heap, he can still get you going."

At $40, it's certainly not the most cost-effective French press on the market—but it's the only Star Wars-themed one, and really, that's the only thing that matters. You can now enjoy R2-D2-brewed coffee from a R2-D2 coffee mug while eating your Star Wars-themed cereal from a R2-D2 cereal bowl with a lightsaber-shaped spoon.

Don't expect your R2-D2 coffemaker to bleep or bloop, even if it does make drinkable coffee.

Unfortunately, this R2D2 French press isn't available until November. Patience, you must have. But once you get that coffeemaker on your kitchen counter, there's no need to tell your R2D2 French press, "I love you." It knows.
