We all have our dreams, large and small. A lot of getting out of bed in the morning is fueled by the fear of not being able to pay for the room the bed is in, but also because it's nice to want things.

Like most Americans, I drink a lot of coffee—somewhere in the neighborhood of the three cups average U.S. coffee drinkers down each day. Unlike most Americans, however, I work from home, meaning I am solely responsible for the purchasing and preparation of every single one of those cups. When I was younger, I gravitated towards darker roasts—“Italian” always seemed to work—and was happy with flavors like chocolate and caramel.

Are you amused by buying things in bulk? Like a six-pound tub of Nutella, or a five-pound bag of gummy bears?

The South’s beloved Blue Bell Creamery has been marking Mardi Gras with a limited run of King Cake ice cream for a few years now and die-hard fans know to grab it while they can. The creamy cinnamon cake flavored ice cream is filled with pastry pieces, cream cheese swirls, and colorful candy sprinkles. It is only available for a limited time and if you missed it, well, you were out of luck until next year.
