Not all wreaths were made to deck front doors and mantels. Some, like this bacon wreath, were designed to adorn your breakfast table. (You could hang it on your door, but be prepared for hungry critters swarming your porch.) Whether you're hosting a breakfast party or looking for a dish to take to a holiday potluck, this greasy and down-right delicious ring of bacon always wins the crowd over. Most DIY wreaths are built on a foam base, but we used foil so it could be baked in the oven. Flex your creative muscles by folding a bacon bow and rolling bacon roses for decoration. The whole thing comes together in less than an hour and costs no more than $15. Look it:

The Cost Breakdown

2 packs uncured center cut bacon: $9.98
Aluminum foil: $3.99
Toothpicks: $0.99
Total: $14.96

When your bacon wreath is done cooking, strain and save the bacon grease in a glass jar for future deliciousness.
