Thanksgiving Pringles Are Back and Easier to Buy
Three fan favorite flavors make their return for a limited time
Thanksgiving: an elaborate meal that requires hours of preparation and at least one argument with a member of your extended family. Don’t get me wrong: it’s one of the best meals of the year. But what if there was a way to go about it without having to deal with aunt Karen’s mediocre green bean casserole?
Well, it turns out there is. Once again, Pringles is putting out a line of Thanksgiving-inspired chips, offering up your favorite harvest flavors in familiar tubed form. While last year featured eight flavors as unorthodox as cranberry sauce and creamed corn, the 2018 edition trims the fat and focuses on the three flavors that those lucky enough (including us) to try them out last year loved the most: turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie.
While Thanksgiving-themed products seem to be a rarity, Pringles’ ultra-rare offering last year was enough of a hit that they seemingly had no choice but to bring them back as part of a wider release.
“When we launched Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner last year, it was so exciting to see Pringle fans’ positive reactions celebrating how insanely accurate the flavors were,” senior VP of marketing for Pringles parent company Kellogg’s U.S. Snacks division Yuvraj Arora said in a press release. “We knew that we had to get Pringles thanksgiving flavors in more people’s hands this year.”
And that’s exactly what’s happening. Though you still won’t find any Thanksgiving Pringles on supermarket shelves, you won’t need to win an auction to get your hands on them this time around. Starting Tuesday, November 6th at 11:59 p.m. they’ll be available for purchase at Kelloggstore.com for $14.99 while supplies last. So if you’ve ever wanted to try out a not-as-bad-as-it-sounds pumpkin pie Pringle or stovetop stuffing distilled into chip form, now’s your chance.
