Pringles Auctioning “Thanksgiving Dinner” Chips for Charity
Support No Kid Hungry and eat chips that taste like mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie
Thanksgiving may have come and gone, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to stretch out those leftovers as long as you can. This holiday season, Pringles and No Kid Hungry are teaming up to help you savor those thanksgiving flavors and help feed the hungry at the same time.
Between Giving Tuesday and 11:59 PM on Thursday, November 30th, you can bid on on the final Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner. Featuring unorthodox flavors like turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, creamed corn, green bean casserole, mac & cheese and pumpkin pie (we tried them! they were weird but kind of good?), this limited-edition collection of chips lets you relive all of the fine tastes of Thanksgiving without any of the awkward family time.
All proceeds from the auction go to No Kid Hungry, and Pringles will match the winning bid up to $5,000. That’s probably more than any one person should spend on 24 Pringles in the abstract, but the money is going to a great cause.
"No child deserves to go hungry this holiday season, yet one in six kids in America struggles with hunger," said Clay Dunn, Chief Communications Officer for No Kid Hungry. "With this auction, Pringles fans can gain a fun collector's item and make a real impact on our work at the same time."
As of press time, the current bid is only $100, a veritable steal. You can get in on the bidding here.
