In an effort to help maximize consumption of classic Halloween candy corn, we’ve melted it down into a hypnotic orange candy corn simple syrup for your pancakes, waffles, and yes, cocktails. If regular simple syrup is made with equal parts sugar and water, then melting candy corn with water should yield a similar result, right? Absolutely. We added a bit less water, resulting in a perfectly pourable maple-syrup-like consistency. We took that a step further and added maple syrup to the mixture, so it feels a bit more familiar drizzled over your favorite breakfast carbs. If you prefer a thinner syrup, just add more water. It’s really that easy.Candy Corn Simple Syrup
