How to Make It
With a fork, beat the hot chocolate and egg in a bowl.
Add ½ teaspoon vanilla. Mix well.
Dip both sides of each bread slice into the custard. Make sure it doesn’t get soggy.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Cook until both sides are dark brown and a little crispy. Serve warm with powdered sugar, whipped cream, and/or chocolate syrup.
