Actually, based on the sound of the recipe I'd give it a 5 star. However, in order to make it would you clarify quantities. first the butter says 1 1/2 Tbsp sticks butter - I assume that is 1 and 1/2 sticks??? Then the dried onions it calls for 1 1/2 dried onions? really. My husband is also a stuffing nut and I'd love to try this but need clarification. Thanks
Your Compound Stuffing Butter recipe is made with butter and Thanksgiving spices. But the last item doesn't mention a unit of measurement like a Tbsp or a cup: 1-½ dried chopped onion (from the spice aisle), rehydrated in 1/4 c. warm water for 30 min.
Is it 1-1/2 Tbsp. of dried onion or something else?
I think someone needs to proof read their recipe.
"1 ½ tablespoons sticks unsalted butter, softened." Tablespoons sticks?
"1 teaspoon low sodium chicken base, preferable Better Than Bouillon brand (if you can’t find low-sodium, cut back to 1/2 tablespoon or it will be too salty)." 1/2 tablespoon is not cutting back from 1 teaspoon.
