If you’re out of work, love tacos, and think Chipotle is overrated compared to other fast-casual Mexican chains, then Moe’s Southwest Grill might just have the perfect job for you.

That’s because the Atlanta-based company wants to make you their newest CTO. And thankfully, you won’t need to know anything about coding, servers, or WiFi networks, since Moe’s is looking for a chief taco officer.

The (temporary) role’s primary responsibility is to serve as a sort of cheerleader and company mascot, getting Moe’s fans excited about the new Three Amigos Tacos (a trio of chicken, steak, and carnitas tacos). This will all happen during the chain’s first ‘Taco Tour’ slated for this summer, a 12-city fiesta of flavor that starts in Atlanta on June 1.

While whoever lands the role won’t be earning a traditional C-suite-level salary, that doesn’t mean that Moe’s won’t compensate them for their taco-touting efforts. Airfare, food, and accommodations for the duration of the Taco Tour will be paid for. The CTO will also get free swag, a trip to Moe’s Atlanta test kitchen, a “$1,000 CTO fun budget,” and (of course) all the free tacos your stomach and heart desire.

So how does one land their short-term dream job? First, become a Rockin’ Rewards member on the Moe’s App, then state your case on social media using #MoesCTOContest between April 3 and April 20. Public voting will then determine which of the three finalists gets this special CTO gig. In addition to loving Moe’s and possessing an unending passion for tacos, candidates must be 18 or older and have two weeks to travel around the time of the Taco Tour.

This sort of gimmicky part-time job has become something of a go-to move in the restaurant PR playbook these days. In just the past year, we’ve seen promotional ‘jobs’ testing everything from pizza to avocado to chicken nuggets, but this seems like the cushiest (and highest-paying) position of them all. You just have to like tacos and getting other people to like tacos. Start writing your carnitas-themed cover letter today and hope for the best.
