After trick-or-treating, chances are good that you’ll be stuck with a mountain of Halloween candy, wondering if there’s any way to use leftover Halloween candy. Well, if you’re lucky enough to have some extra bags of M&Ms lying around, you can whip up a batch of these baked churro bites. Seriously. Making stuffed churros might be the sweetest way to use leftover Halloween candy because it just requires five ingredients. Cinnamon and sugar are pantry staples—and if they aren’t a staple in your pantry, they should be—so the only thing you’ll need to grab from the grocery store is canned biscuits. There’s also need to set up a fryer or worry about splattering oil because these churros are baked, not fried. Plus, with this canned biscuit hack, this churro recipe only takes 30 minutes from start to end. It’s no mess, no stress, and all sweet.
5-Ingredient M&M’s-Stuffed Churros
1 (16.3-ounce) tube biscuit dough
1 cup M&M’s
⅓ cup sugar
3 tablespoons cinnamon
4 tablespoons butter, melted
How to Make It
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Pop open the can of biscuit dough and slice each biscuit in half.
Place 4 to 5 M&M's in the center of each halved biscuit. Fold biscuit in half over the m&m’s, pinching the edges together. Bring the pinched edges together and roll the dough into a ball shape.
Evenly space the stuffed “churros” on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Combine cinnamon and sugar in one bowl and place melted butter in another bowl. Toss churros in with the butter and then the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
