Mouthwatering Peanut Butter and Fudge Creations
There are very few flavors in this world that pair better than peanut butter and chocolate. It's just science. The two are better together, and everyone knows it. It's the reason Reese's Cups exist and why Hallie and Annie smother their Oreos in peanut butter and experience their first real "twin moment" in the iconic scene in The Parent Trap. [Insert millennial warm fuzzies here.] Nabisco even took notice and crafted their own Peanut Butter Oreos to meet the demand. Praises.But if candy bars and store-bought cookies aren't your thing, you're in luck. Here are some of our favorite chocolate fudge and peanut butter combos that will make your heart (and taste buds) extremely happy.
All you need is four simple ingredients (peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter, and chocolate) and some room in your freezer to make these amazingly-simple chocolate and peanut butter candies. The hardest part is waiting for the chocolate to set in the refrigerator before you devour them all. Pack them in Mason jars tied to give out as party favors or keep them all to yourself. We're not judging. If you're a fan of classic Buckeyes Balls, these will be right up your alley, although with a bit more chocolate.
Watch out: This luscious cake is extremely rich. The actual cake layers are extremely moist because of the addition of creamy peanut butter to the batter and the filling is an ultra-decadent combination of peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. To top it all off, we frosted it with a rich chocolate ganache and decorated the top with candy pieces and peanuts. If the photo doesn't make you drool, you might be looking at it wrong.
Fudge lovers, this one's for you. Fudge is a rich and delicious treat that requires minimal ingredients--our personal favorite part. It's easy to assemble and looks impressive when served at a party. But this is no ordinary fudge: We stirred in instant coffee granules to the cocoa and topped the chocolate base with a combination of creamy peanut butter and peanut butter chips.
