Raspberry-Chocolate Chip Kaiserschmarrn

Raspberry-Chocolate Chip Kaiserschmarrn Recipe

Kaiserschmarrn is an Austrian dessert named for a former emperor who loved shredded pancakes. In this indulgent version, we created the fluffiest pancake you've ever had, cut it into pieces, gave it crispy, buttery edges, and served it with lucious toppings like raspberry and chocolate. It truly is a breakfast fit for royalty. Go ahead and eat in bed; the bite-sized pieces make it less messy than regular pancakes.

Be-Still-My-Heart Breakfast Pizza

Be-Still-My-Heart Breakfast Pizza Recipe

As delicious as cold, last-night's pizza can be for breakfast, some occasions call for a little something extra. Perfectly cooked eggs, tender heart-shaped dough with a crisp bottom, and traditional hot Italian sausage make the cutest morning pizza. Add whatever extra toppings you, or whomever you're making this for, love. Just make sure not to crack the egg into the bacon heart, because it won't cook.

Broiled Grapefruit with Ginger and Maple Cream Recipe

Not overly sweet, this elegant, seasonal dessert is a grapefruit-lover's delight. To whip the maple-infused cream into fluffy peaks with ease, start with a frozen metal bowl and whisk. Using chilled tools helps the cream to develop and hold body quickly.

Easiest Cinnamon Rolls Ever

Easiest Cinnamon Rolls Ever Recipe

Holiday mornings and chilly afternoons are made complete with warm, gooey cinnamon rolls. If you want to make them for breakfast, you can make the rolls the night before, cover them well, and refrigerate the unbaked rolls overnight. Just let them come to room temperature before baking them as directed. If you prefer a more gooey roll, bake for less time.

Chocolate Buckwheat Waffles with Juicy Berries

Chocolate Buckwheat Waffles with Juicy Berries Recipe

I've remade the typical syrup-doused waffle breakfast into a lower-sugar, fruit-forward, gluten-free, whole-grain plate with 273 fewer calories. In place of refined all-purpose flour, I go with gluten-free buckwheat flour, which adds 2.4g filling fiber per serving; strawberries add another 2.4g. Barely sweetened berries and yogurt replace maple syrup, slashing 18g added sugar per serving.

Creamy Brioche and Egg Bake

Creamy Brioche and Egg Bake Recipe

This stand alone breakfast dish is an upgrade from the usual breakfast casserole. Baking eggs in brioche and heavy cream allows for perfectly set, soft, and runny eggs. Fresh herbs and rich egg and meaty sausage flavors round out this bake and give it irresistable texture. Ask for brioche at your local grocery store or bakery and they are sure to have it.

Wake up to the smell of oats, subtle coconut, warm spices, and Granny Smith apples. All you have to do is let your slow cooker or Instant Pot to make breakfast. What could be better than that? Frangelico Coffee Recipe

Start with strong-brewed French-roast coffee, add a splash of hazelnut liqueur, and finish with vanilla bean, cream, and sugar. Because what better way is there to kick off a festive brunch or settle down to dessert than with a spiked cup of coffee?

Triple-Berry Muffins

Triple-Berry Muffins Recipe

Here's a breakfast muffin you don't have to feel bad about. We opted for canola oil over butter, incorporated 50% white whole-wheat flour, and kept the added sugar low by leaning on the sweetness of ripe summer strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Peaches will be a welcome addition later in the season.

Veggie Eggy Scramble

Veggie Eggy Scramble Recipe

Katie admits that she and her family "aren't big morning people." They rush through and typically grab what's convenient. We like the idea of getting them to incorporate veggies into the morning meal, and it's not hard or time-consuming to do. Katie can spend a few minutes prepping everything the night before (including beating the egg-cheese mixture) to make the next morning a breeze. When they need this to be grab and go, they can stuff the scramble into a whole-wheat pita.
