We love our smoothies here at MyRecipes; they're a quick, convenient, portable way to pack in a few servings of fresh fruit and vegetables. It's hard to beat a good avocado, spinach, or kale-based frozen concoction that tastes as delicious as it is nutritious. Better still, even kids who don't feel quite so enthusiastic about foods containing anything green can enjoy a healthy smoothie. Not every healthy smoothie recipe is going to be a hit with the kids, but we've gathered our 15 of tastiest, kid-friendliest smoothies to make life a little easier.

Citrus Sunrise Smoothie

Citrus Sunrise Smoothie Recipe

With a one-two punch of mango and coconut, this is a perfect blend for those who enjoy a taste of the tropics. This recipe calls for frozen fruit, letting you still reap the nutritional benefits of out-of-season fruit like mango. Just one serving offers 100% of your daily goal for vitamin C and over one-quarter your daily calcium needs in a low-calorie package.

This super-chocolaty smoothie is a tasty nondairy option. Dates offer up lots of richness and a caramel-like sweetness—naturally. As a bonus, they also boost fiber by about 2g. Banana Cream Pie Smoothie

Banana Cream Pie Smoothie Recipe

Frozen bananas, graham cracker crumbs, and vanilla extract are a few of the ingredients that make this smoothie a rich dessert in a glass. Because it calls for low-fat yogurt and fat-free milk, one serving of this drink gives you about the same amount of calcium as a glass of milk.
