It’s just not a proper holiday meal if you don’t forget to buy at least a few ingredients at the grocery store. Here’s where to go—and where not to go—on Easter Sunday 2020 for last-minute purchases:   

Walmart

All Walmart stores will be open on Easter Sunday, but some may open late or close early. Check with your local store for holiday hours.

Aldi

Some Aldi locations will be open on Easter, but some won’t. You can see about your local store here.

Kroger

In the past, Kroger has opened on Easter Sunday—so we’d bet they’ll follow the same hours this year. 

Safeway

Most Safeway stores will be open on the holiday this year, but call your nearest location to make sure. 

Albertson’s

Most Albertson’s stores will be open from 6 AM to 10 PM on Easter Sunday. 

Whole Foods

Most Whole Foods locations will be open at 7 AM and will close at 11 PM.

Trader Joe’s

TJ’s stores will most likely follow their regular hours this Easter Sunday. 

Kmart

Most Kmart stores will follow their regular hours—8 AM to 10 PM—but call your location to make sure.   

Wegman’s 

Most Wegman’s stores will follow their regular business hours, but call your location to make sure. 

Shop-Rite

Most Shop-Rite stores will follow their regular business hours, but call your location to make sure. 

Winn-Dixie

Winn-Dixie stores will be open on Easter, but hours may vary by location

CVS

CVS will follow its regular business hours on Easter Sunday. 

Rite-Aid

Rite-Aid will follow its regular business hours on Easter Sunday. 

Walgreens

Walgreens will follow its regular business hours on Easter Sunday.
