We put some thought into this.

We take Galentine’s Day very seriously around here. I mean, why wouldn’t we? The best holiday originating from the best show deserves a little extra attention. How could we celebrate February 13 without acknowledging the brilliant characters who put it on the map? Without further ado, here’s what you should bring to a Galentine’s potluck based on your favorite Parks & Recreation character:

If your favorite character is Leslie Knope...

...bring this Banana Split Waffle Cake.

Time Inc. Video Studio

I know, I know. These waffles aren’t from J.J.’s Diner. That unfortunate fact aside, this cake is right up Leslie’s alley: It’s waffle-centric, heavy on the whipped cream, and super sweet. It’s basically everything she could ever want in a dessert.

If your favorite character is Ron Swanson…

...bring these Steak and Deviled Eggs.

We all know that deviled eggs are Ron’s go-to party food—even if he doesn’t share them. What could be more Ron Swanson than a deviled egg? I’ll tell you: a deviled egg with beef tenderloin on it.

If your favorite character is Tom Haverford…

...bring these Brie-and-Fig Puffed Pastry Bites.

TIFS

These are cute and tiny, just like Tommy Haverford. They’re also the perfect bougie party food and could definitely hold their own at Tom’s Bistro.

If your favorite character is April Ludgate….

...bring this Puerto Rican Asopao.

April once revealed that she gets her personality from her Puerto Rican heritage. We know she’d just love this spicy dish. Well, “love” is a strong word. She wouldn’t hate it.

If your favorite character is Andy Dwyer...

...bring these Butternut-Nut Butter Bars.

These might not be exactly to Andy’s taste, but hear me out: Andy’s favorite food is butter. It goes on everything he loves: pancakes, toast, popcorn, grapes, etc. His head would probably explode when he heard about these Butternut-Nut Butter Bars.

...bring this Classic Gin Martini.

Donna is one classy lady, and this is one classy drink. She’d sip it while she judged you over the edge of the glass.

If your favorite character is Ann Perkins…

...bring these Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes.

Listen: I like Ann. She’s a beautiful, talented, brilliant, powerful musk ox. But she’s kinda basic. Like these mashed potatoes.

If your favorite character is Jean-Ralphio Sapperstein...

...bring this Blue Velvet Dream Cocktail.

Contrary to popular belief, Jean-Ralphio is not “the wooOooOorst.” The rest of us just haven’t caught up to his impeccable taste yet. This drink is very cool and hip—just like Jean-Ralphio.

If your favorite character is Orin…

...bring this Meat Head.

Everyone will be super creeped out, but you’ll know the truth: This Meat Head is art.

If your favorite character is Jerry/Gary/Terry Gergich…

...bring this Easy Chili.

I know we like to make fun of Jerry/Gary/Terry, but he’d bring something totally acceptable and potluck appropriate. Like chili. But then he’d probably trip and spill it all over the Parks Department à la Kevin Malone from The Office.

We can’t all be winners.
