As a society, it’s increasingly apparent that we are addicted to delivery. Subsequently, there’s an ever-increasing range of delivery apps, takeout-only restaurants ready to cater to our whims.

Imagine this scenario: You swing through the drive-thru of your favorite fast food restaurant. After grabbing your order, you sit the bag shotgun, but the alluring waft of French fry smell quickly fills the car. Do I even need to ask what happens next? Of course you dig in for a drive-home fry.

If there’s one stereotype Taco Bell is known for (and doesn’t shy away from) it’s being the ultimate late-night fast food choice of millions of revelers either during a rowdy night out or after the party disbands in the wee hours of the morning. But, of course, the inherent problem with being good drunk food is getting drunk people to said food, safely.

Part of what has made the food delivery landscape so competitive is pure logistics. The United States is a big place and delivering food to all of it out of the gate would be virtually impossible. So instead, different purely-delivery services have tended to target specific areas.
