Grilling season is here! If you are a novice griller don't fret. I have a few tips, one easy and delicious menu, and all the basic tools you'll need to get things cooking. 

Let’s start with the basics. Grill…check! Margarita on the rocks waiting nearby…check!

What's next? Well, for me it all starts with a good recipe. Last weekend I tried Southern Living’s Grilled Chicken Thighs and, I must say, this is one for the recipe file.  It’s the quintessential summertime grilled chicken recipe. I forewent the recommended white barbecue sauce and can attest that my plate was still nowhere near lacking in flavor. As for the sides, Home Style Baked Beans were super easy to prep and absolutely delicious. Round out the meal with Grilled Corn on the Cob with Roasted Jalapeño Butter.
